Challenge: Dave Hoover Construction (DHC) is a well-established company with a long history of success in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Montana. However, their existing branding lacked a cohesive visual identity that effectively communicated the breadth and quality of their services within the competitive construction industry.
Solution: GRAPHtography partnered with DHC to develop a new construction branding strategy and visual identity that reflects their experience, versatility, and commitment to excellence.
The Process:
Discovery & Research: We began by conducting in-depth interviews with Dave Hoover and his team to understand their company culture, target audience, and brand aspirations within the construction industry. We also researched the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation in construction branding.
Construction Branding Strategy Development: Based on our findings, we developed a clear construction branding strategy that defined DHC's core values (integrity, craftsmanship, customer service) and unique selling proposition (experienced and trusted construction management for all your residential and commercial needs).
Modernized Logo & Bold Colors: A redesigned logo with a strong typeface conveys stability and professionalism. An enhanced color palette, featuring red, silver, black, and white, reflects Dave Hoover Construction's commitment to excellence, innovation, and cutting-edge techniques. Clear and consistent typography ensures impactful messaging across all brand touchpoints.
Brand Implementation: The new branding elements were applied across all DHC touchpoints, including their website, business cards, marketing materials, and custom signage. We also ensured Dave's general contractor license numbers are prominently displayed, adhering to licensing regulations.
Results:
The new construction branding for DHC has been met with positive feedback from both clients and the community. The cohesive visual identity effectively communicates the company's experience, versatility, and commitment to quality. The use of clear and concise messaging allows potential clients to quickly understand the wide range of services offered by DHC. Additionally, the prominent display of Dave's general contractor license numbers establishes trust and professionalism, demonstrating his adherence to industry regulations.
